A Precious Boost for New Zealand Tourism
New Zealand’s tourism trade has been given a boost after it was confirmed that two films based on JRR Tolkien’s The Hobbit will be made in the country. The films were given the green-light after lengthy discussions between the New Zealand government and Hollywood executives. New Zealand witnessed a tourism boom as a result of The Lord of the Rings trilogy being shot in the country.
